WE NEED STUDENT
HELP for: Adopt a Trail:
There is no cost for these sponsorships. The purpose of this
sponsorship is to help keep the Center trails free of litter. Most of
the litter that arrives in the Center is carried in by the wind.
Sponsors would be expected to police their trail at least in the spring
and fall. Your name can be displayed on a trail sign to indicate you
support if you wish. This
FREE sponsorship would by ideal for student
groups (i.e. science class), clubs (i.e. KEY Club) from the CONY or Hodgkins Schools or non-profit
groups (church, civic, scouts, etc) in the greater Augusta area.

Geocaching: Somewhere in the Nature Center is
a cache for those who like to find things with a GPS. A geocache is located using a GPS and a set of
coordinates which you follow to the cache. The cache is registered
on a internet site and you may track how many times it was located, what
is in it, and if any
"travel bugs" have visited. Please do not destroy or remove the cache
when you locate it. To learn about this activity of discovery, visit
