  • Be Recognized on the Trail Entry Sign: There is 1 sign (example below) at each public entrance which identifies the entrance. Everyone entering and exiting will be able to recognize your support. Support is $600 for 12 months, renewable if you wish. There is no implied commitment for additional years (of course we hope you will continue if you are able).

  • Be Recognized on the Trail Map:  The Trail Map "handout" will be available to everyone. They will be distributed throughout the greater Augusta area and in response to all requests during the 2005/2006 seasons. The Trail Map will be reprinted in 2007 after the CONY school construction and the CONY cross country and ski trails are complete. There is one sponsorship available for $1500.

  • Be Recognized on the Entry Kiosks: Each entry kiosk can display your name to each and every visitor to the Nature Center. There is one sponsor ship available for $5500.

  • Entry Kiosk Sponsor: Kiwanis International of Augusta

  • WE NEED STUDENT HELP for: Adopt a Trail: There is no cost for these sponsorships. The purpose of this sponsorship is to help keep the Center trails free of litter. Most of the litter that arrives in the Center is carried in by the wind. Sponsors would be expected to police their trail at least in the spring and fall. Your name can be displayed on a trail sign to indicate you support if you wish. This FREE sponsorship would by ideal for student groups (i.e. science class), clubs (i.e. KEY Club) from the CONY or Hodgkins Schools or non-profit groups (church, civic, scouts, etc) in the greater Augusta area.

  • Geocaching: Somewhere in the Nature Center is a cache for those who like to find things with a GPS. A geocache is located using a GPS and a set of coordinates which you follow to the cache. The cache is registered on a internet site and you may track how many times it was located, what is in it, and if any "travel bugs" have visited. All sponsors will receive a "Thank you" letter from the Nature Center within 30 days of indicating support acknowledging that support. The letter can also be used to satisfy IRS reporting or related accounting needs if required.
